Our value engineering efforts
involve our cost estimators and consultants, and often involve
reliable general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
with whom we have established working relationships. Access,
staging, and construction sequences are often important considerations
in constructability. Location of mechanical and electrical
rooms frequently can impact costs. Alternate products or brand
names of equal quality can reduce costs. Metal studs have
proven to be less expensive than wood. Steel bracing or wood
shear walls may be less expensive than concrete shear walls.
